Three outlaws held, arms, narcotics recovered

Police have arrested three notorious accused belonging to Arshad Papoo gang and recovered a large number of arms and ammunition besides narcotics.
According to police sources here on Tuesday, absconding accused Bilal s/o Arshad wanted in 23 cases of serious nature and is nephew of infamous accused Arshad Papoo. He was arrested along with another accused identified as Abdul Majeed from Chakiwara area.
During interrogations, the accused identified arms and narcotics hidden by Papoo Group in Pak Colony and Mauripur, which the police recovered after raid.
The arms recovered included three klashnikovs, 5 TT, 4 hand grenades, 3 rockets, 2 RPG fuse and 5 kilogram charas.
Accused Bilal is wanted in various heinous nature crimes, including murder, extortion and police encounters. In the meantime, police have also arrested another member of the Arshad Papoo gang identified as Jabber alias Rubi and recovered one TT pistol and three rounds. Police have registered cases against the three arrested accused.
CCPO Karachi Niaz Ahmed Siddiqui while appreciating the performance of the police party announced to award commendation certificates to them.
