Polls to be held in 2008: Afgan

General elections in the country will be held in February 2008, parliamentary affairs minister Dr Sher Afgan Niazi said. Talking to newsmen here on Saturday, he said present assemblies would complete their term on November 15 next year and it would take 90 days to hold elections afresh.
The present government came into being on November 16, 2002 after general elections in the country held in October 2002.
