Ukraine's rapeseed harvest is likely to double to 564,000 tonnes in 2006 from about 289,000 in 2005 due to higher sowing area and yields, analysts said on Tuesday.
Agriculture ministry forecast the harvest at up to 750,000 tonnes in 2006. UkrAgroConsult agriculture consultancy said in a statement Ukraine was likely to harvest about 410,000 hectares under the commodity this year from about 200,000 a year.
