Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 126,203 tonnes cargo including 102,183 tonnes import and 24,020 tonnes export cargo during last 48 hours ending at 0700 hours on Thursday.
The cargo comprised of 83,641 tonnes dry cargo including 49,226 tonnes general cargo; 16,561 tonnes fertiliser; 12,282 tonnes rock phosphate; 5,572 tonnes clinkers and 42,562 tonnes oil/liquid cargo. Six ships namely Kota Permai, Iran Hesabi, APL Jabel Ali, Al-Manakh, MT Shalamar and Lady Kyriaki sailed out to sea during the report period.
Eight vessels viz Al-Manakh, Iran Hesabi, Mega-II, Hyundai Stride, YM Moon, NMT Rose, Sea Rose and George are currently at the berths. Seven ships namely Mariupol, Pan Dynamic, Sea Rose, YM Moon, Mega-II, Ltc. Calvin P. Titus and Bow De Jin expected to sail on Thursday, while another vessel viz George is expected to sail on Friday.
Three vessels viz OEL Aishwarya, Goldensari Indah and Pattaya Navee due to arrive on Thursday, while five ships namely Bunga Kenari, Ikan Acapulco, Iron Butterfly, Le Ye and Wakato are due to arrive on Friday.

The cargo comprised of 39,839 tonnes diesel oil; 15,876 tonnes iron ore; 3,485 tonnes chemicals; 10,660 tonnes seeds and 58,497 tonnes containerised cargo. Four ships namely CV CSAV Ningbo, CV ACX Margurite, MT Sinar Agra and MT Shintoku sailed out to sea during last 24 hours.
Container vessel viz CMA CGM Nilgai is expected to sail on Thursday. A total of three vessels viz Xiang Wan, Sturdy Falcon and Al Manakh are currently at the outer anchorage. Three ships namely CV Al Manakh, CV Xiang Wan and MT Anette Kosan due to take berths on Thursday.
Two vessels viz CV MSC Deila and CV Saudi Abha due to arrive on Thursday, while two more ships namely CV Maerskn Arkansas and CV Lucien are due to arrive on Friday.
