Japan's Agriculture Ministry said on Thursday it had bought a total of 206,000 tonnes of wheat from the United States, Canada and Australia and 19,000 tonnes of Canadian food barley at a weekly tender. All shipments are scheduled for February, a ministry official said.
The result of the tender matches the ministry's purchase plan announced on Tuesday.
