The second meeting of board of directors of Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company (PGJDC) will be held in Karachi next week to discuss ways to promote gems and jewellery sector, which has the potential to contribute to the country's exports in a big way.
PGJDC Chairman Matiullah M. Sheikh, said on Saturday, that the company was planning to organise an international gems and jewellery exhibition in Lahore in March next, and added that this event would showcase the real manufacturing and exports potential of the country in the field.
