Smeda to hold training programme on August 8

Small & Medium Enterprise Development Authority (Smeda) in collaboration with Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) has organised a one-day training programme and also planned to organise the next training workshop on 'Environmental Compliance for Textile Industry' on August 08, 2007.
It is learned by Regional Business Coordinator of Small & Medium Enterprise Development Authority (Smeda) Faisalabad Zahid Iqbal. Highlighting the purpose of the programme he said that objective training exercise is to provide a deep knowledge and understanding to the participants about the core issues related to environmental compliance, he said.
He averred that the identification and understanding of the legal aspects are very essential and to know other requirements related to the various sectors of the textile Industry would be discussed. On the occasion Zahid Iqbal ensured that the programme would surely provide a great opportunity for participants to learn how to broaden their prospective and develop a framework to identify and address areas of compliance in a formal manners.
In this way they (participants) would enhance knowledge matching international standards owing to get compliance world-wide and also pave the way to obtain international certification.
