Sugar and gur prices fall on grain market

Sugar prices slid on the grain market on Saturday as supply position improved, dealers said. Sugar prices dropped by Rs 20 to Rs 2680-2780, dealers said. Gur better type lost Rs 200 to Rs 3100, while the low type did not move any side at Rs 2000, they said. Khandsari lost Rs 200 to Rs 3400-3600, they said.
On the gram side, bajra shed Rs 25 to Rs 1300 while the best type held its overnight level at Rs 1400, they said. Wheat old and new gained Rs 5 to Rs 1245 and 1260, they said.
