SECP seminar on August 4

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) is organising a seminar on "The role of derivatives in the growth of capital markets" here on August 4.
The focus of this programme is to create awareness amongst market participants on derivatives and to understand the advancing solutions, which will allow the participants an opportunity to engage in serious consideration on the subject.
The keynote speaker of this seminar will be Clive Farrand, Sr. lecturer at London Metropolitan University. Farrand has considerable high-level experience working in investment commercial and private banking at a senior level in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. He is a member of the Corporate Treasurers, the Institute of Bankers, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors and a qualified technical analyst.
He is also a part of the London Finance Academy, which is also a part of London Metropolitan University. As many as 100 participants, including KSE officials and the brokerage community, are expected to attend this seminar.
