Governor of Punjab Lieutenant General Khalid Maqbool (Retd) in a ceremony here on Thursday gave gallantry awards to policemen. He appreciated their services for the country and said that these policemen who were being awarded Quaid-e-Azam Police Medal and President Police Medal had made the nation proud for their services.
He gave Quaid-e-Azam Police Medals to SSP Javed Hussain Shah; DSP Sheikh Bashir Ahmad (Retd); constable Muhammad Nawaz; constable Muhammad Hussain; constable Farukh Waseem (Shaheed)(Family received medal)); constable Khalid Hussain.
On the occasion he presented President Police Medals to Rana Mansoor-ul-Haq SP; DSP Umar Virk; Inspector Pervaiz Iqbal/SGD; ASI Mumtaz Ali Khan; constable Qaisar Abbas. Senior officers of police and other services were present on the occasion.
