Consumer-electronics and computer maker Fujitsu Siemens said on Monday in Berlin it would put a "green personal computer" on the market that reduces power use and is made with minimal pollution.
At the IFA consumer-electronics trade show, the company said the Scaleo Green PC, aimed at environmentally sensitive shoppers, would come with a "free" voucher for 25 euros (34 dollars) worth of electricity.
"That's enough power to run it for two hours a day, one year long," said a Fujitsu Siemens executive, Joerg Hartmann. The PC uses software to optimise power consumption.
