Various political parties, traders' associations, non-governmental, social and students' organisations have set up their relief camps in different parts of the city where they collect medicines, edible and non-edible items for the quake affectees of the province.
Pashtunkhwa Mili Awami Party (PMAP) has established more than 50 camps in various parts of the country from where they collected medicines, cash and items of daily use and sent them to Ziarat for distribution among the afectees.
"We have sent two ambulances, six teams of doctors and paramedics, medicines, edible items including wheat flour, rice, cooking oil, bread and others", said provincial president Usman Khan Kakar adding that consignments of same nature have been sent to Ziarat from Loralai, Qila Abdullah, Muslim Bagh and other districts.
He added that the PMAP volunteers have also established three medical camps at Bolan Medical College, Sandeman Hospital and Pashtunkhwa Blood Bank where all medical facilities including blood tests and x-ray service are available.
Moreover, tent villages have also been set up in Ziarat and Quetta where hundreds of people are provided shelter to spend fearless nights. Similarly, Traders' union, Awami National Party, PML-N, PML-Q and Jamiat Ulema Islam (Ideological) collected relief items including edible and non-edible materials and were dispatched to the affected people.
