Descon sets up tent village in quake-hit areas

The Descon Engineering Limited, in close collaboration with local authorities and Pakistan Army has established a tent village for more than four hundred individuals of sixty families in the quake stricken areas of Balochistan.
They also distributed 300 blankets, edibles, along with other relief items amongst the affectees of the earthquake victims of Ziarat, the most affected area of Balochistan to save them from the cold weather.
Talking about the relief activities being undertaken, the Managing Director and CEO, Descon Engineering, Sheikh Azhar Ali told newsmen about welfare work to help the earthquake affectees of October 2005, includes establishment of School in Mansahra, is still in progress. Further, he said that the administration and worker of Descon would take every possible step to help their Balochi brethren for their rehabilitation.
