A powerful bomb blast ripped through a mosque during prayers in a restive north-western district Saturday, killing at least three worshippers and injuring six others, officials said. The explosion destroyed the roof of the mosque in the town of Tal in Hangu district and several worshippers were buried under the debris, local official Afzal Khan told AFP.
"It was a timed device planted in the mosque premises. One portion of the mosque caved in, resulting in the deaths of three worshippers and injuring six others," Khan said.
