Falling trend persists on grain market

Declining trend persisted on the grain market on Monday as most of the commodities tended lower in process of slow trading, dealers said. On the cereal side wheat new bardana quoted at Rs 2815 during the day, sugar shed Rs 50 to Rs 3200-3350.
Other items were unmoved owing to balanced demand and supply position, dealers said. On the rice sector Irri-6 drifted by losing Rs 50 to Rs 2350 amid easy supply, they said.
On the seed side castorseed Lasbela and Sindh dropped by Rs 100 to Rs 1100 and 1000 and cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh new low type was down by Rs 40 to Rs 780 and better type lost 50 paisa at Rs 800 as other items did not show any change amid choppy trading, they said.
