Shia leader escapes attack

Tension gripped the whole city when some unknown armed men opened fire on central Shia leader and burnt some shops in the metropolis on Wednesday. According to detail, the leader of All Pakistan Shia Action Committee (APSAC) Allama Mirza Yousuf Hussaini was targeted by some unknown armed men but he remained safe during this attempt.
The witnesses told Business Recorder that his car was passing through Tariq Road at around 4 pm when some unknown assailants opened fire on his car but he escaped in this violent incident. Later, Allama Mirza Yousuf Hussaini has said that there are some serious threats to his life and demanded of the government to look into the matter.
Meanwhile, some armed men have also burnt a carpet shop situated in Paposh Nagar Market. They put glue in the locks to seal the shops. The market was remained close due to panic in the area.
