The National Engineering Services Pakistan (Nespak) has shown a turnover of Rs 3.23 billion, business acquisition of Rs 5.5billion and profit before taxation of Rs 712 million during the year 2007-2008. The Managing Director, Nespak, Karamat Ullah Chaudhry stated in an annual general meeting of Nespak board of directors held under the chairmanship of Federal Secretary, Ministry of Water and Power, Muhammad Ismail Qureshi.
He said that the directors appreciated huge projects earned by Nespak during the last fiscal year approved 50percent dividend to its shareholders and performance bonus of two and a half months salary to all its professionals and three and a half-month salary to its workmen and staff members.
The Chairman and the directors lauded the hard work and dedication of Nespak staff and advised the management to diversify its areas of operation and expand its activities to new countries.
The Federal Minister for Water and Power, Raja Pervez Ashraf has also congratulated the Managing Director and staff of the Nespak for their outstanding performance during the year 2007-08, in which all previous records had been surpassed. He advised Nespak MD to continue motivating his team so that their performance gets even better in the coming years.
