The Parliamentary Committee (PC) on Judges' Appointment on Monday approved the confirmation of seven additional judges of the Peshawar and Lahore high courts as per the recommendations forwarded by the Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JC). A meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Judges' Appointment was held in the National Assembly under the chairmanship of Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari.
The committee confirmed services of four additional judges of the Peshawar High Court (PHC) namely Justice Mazhar Alam Khan, Justice Attaullah Khan, Justice Miftahuddin and Justice Fasee-ul- Mulk and three additional judges of the Lahore High Court including Justice Saghir Ahmed Qadri, Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan and Justice Khawaja Imtiaz after a detailed discussion.
