Pakistan's lanky left-arm pacer Mohammad Irfran has revealed that he was offered to play basketball for United States (US) national side but he refused it.
In a video message, the 35-year-old said, “I was offered to play basketball for the US national side, they offered me nationality as well, but I refused the offer as I only want to represent Pakistan.”
The tallest cricketer in the world currently, said that he wants to serve only Pakistan and he will do anything for his country. “Pakistan is everything for me. What I am today is because of Pakistan. I want to play only for Pakistan,” he added.

Irfan is currently playing domestic cricket after serving six months ban for being in touch with a suspected bookmaker.
He has represented Pakistan in four Tests, 60 One Day Internationals and 20 Twenty20 and has taken 10, 83 and 15 wickets in the formats respectively.
