Ahmad Magsi's house at PIB colony set on fire

A house of Ahmad Magsi, an accused in dual-murder of MQM activists Mukhtiar and his brother Masood Mukhtiar, was set alight at PIB colony on Saturday. According to police, tension prevailed in PIB Colony and other surrounding area when unidentified men set Magsi's house on fire and managed to flee in leaps and bounds.
They said the Magsi was nominated in the murders of MQM sector committee member Mansoor Mukhtiar and his brother Masood Mukhtiar. Moreover, the police said the incident took place near Meena Bazaar where Magsi's house and six shops subjacent to the building were torched.
According to Fire Brigade department, the fire fighters faced stiff-armed resistance from the miscreants when they rushed to the spot to extinguish the fire. Needless to mention, Ahmad Magsi was nominated in over a dozen murder cases of MQM workers in the limit of PIB Colony police station.
