The Board of Trustees of EOBI has approved more facilities for their employees, in its 102nd meeting held at Karachi, according to a press release issued here on Friday. The Management has issued orders for implementation of decisions; according to which the conveyance allowance will be increased from Rs 700 to Rs 3,000 per month for the officers and from Rs 750 to Rs 2,500 per month for staff members.
BOT also approved facility for hospitalisation of parents. Further, all the employees, who have served for last 10 years in grade I to II, have been upgraded whereas the personal assistants and private secretaries will be upgraded accordance to the decision taken by the federal government.
EOBI Chairman Zafar lqbal Gondal congratulated all the EOBI employees on their up-gradation, hospitalisation facility for parents and increase in conveyance allowance. He further stated that it is our mission to transform EOBI into a viable, progressive and self-sustained organisation, capable of providing retirement benefits to all citizens in service of Pakistan with active support of our employees and stakeholders. The EOBI Chairman also directed all the employees, particularly the field officers that they have to achieve the target whole-heartedly so that all private working class could be benefited under EOBI scheme 1976.-PR
