Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan has condemned the killing of renowned scholar and poet Shabih-ul-Hassan Hashmi and said it is an act of a terrorist group. The renowned scholar was shot on Friday evening outside a college when he was coming out after teaching students. Two unknown assailants ambushed him and fled soon after committing crime.
He was taken to nearby hospital in a critical condition where he succumbed to injuries by early Saturday morning.
