Bid to smuggle foreign currency foiled

Pakistan Customs on Monday foiled a bid to smuggle foreign currency through a Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flight to Dubai, a private TV channel reported. According to the channel, a PIA flight was about to leave for Dubai when Pakistan Customs, on a tip-off, searched the toilets of the plane and recovered foreign currencies, which include 2.4 million Saudi Rial and 0.4 million Swedish Crona. The officials of Pakistan Customs have started investigation.
