'18th Amendment enhances provinces' resources'

The central leader of PPP, Senator Ahmed Hassan said on Monday that resources of the provinces have significantly been enhanced under the landmark 18th Amendment that will bring very positive changes in the life style of masses. Addressing party workers at Malakand Darra in Lower Dir district, the Senator said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be more prosperous than Gulf States due to provincial autonomy.
He said development works in Lower Dir district has been made 10th times more than MMA government. PPP believes in national politics irrespective of race, caste, colour and gender biases, he said, adding the soil of Lower Dir is very fertile that has produced seasoned poets, academicians and politicians who served the country in their respective fields and earned names for themselves and Pakistan as well. He said political stability and national unity is the need of the hours to address the challenges faced by the country today. Senator Hassan said PPP always respected the role of national heroes and held their sacrifices in a high esteem.
