Khyber Pakhtunkhwa approves 250 posts of subject teachers

Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti, has approved in principle the creation of 250 posts of subject specialists for government higher secondary schools in the province. Out of these, 150 posts will be for Urdu and 100 for Pashto subject.
In KP, there are 201 male higher secondary schools and 100 female higher secondary schools but only 68 subject specialists Urdu (male) and 10 subject specialists Urdu (female) posts are provided. The required posts of subject specialists-Urdu male are 133 and subject specialists Urdu female are 90. Similarly 14 subject specialists Pashto (male) are working in the department. However, no subject specialist Pashto (female) is available in any government girls' higher secondary school. Keeping in view the poor financial condition of the province, the government approved 250 posts of subject specialists for the higher secondary schools of the province.
