Criticising the government for US-appeasement policy, the activists of Pasban on Wednesday staged a protest demonstration outside Peshawar Press Club and warned to react strongly if the Nato supplies are restored. The protestors were carrying banners and placards inscribed with anti-US and anti-Nato slogans.
They also shouted slogans against the killing of innocent people in Fata and other parts of the country in connection with the war on terror. The demonstrators were led by Pasban Peshawar President Mohammad Khan. He said the government's pro-America policies showed that the rulers had decided to restore the Nato supply via Peshawar.
He said entire nation opposed to the supplies for Nato forces in Afghanistan but even then the government was bent upon hurting the feelings of the people for their own interests. The rulers, he said had changed Pakistan into American colony where the US was openly interfering in affairs of our country. He warned if the government restored the Nato supply the public would strongly react to it and the entire responsibility would rest with the government.
