LAHORE: A division bench of the Lahore High Court on Tuesday suspended sentence of 93 activists of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and release them on bail convicted for attacking police teams in Sargodha. An anti-terrorism court of Sargodha had handed down five to seven-year imprisonment to the activists. Their counsel argued before the court that the petitioners were on their way to Lahore to attend a Quran Khwani held for the victims of the Model Town incident when police arrested them from Bhera interchange.
