KARACHI: Model Customs Collectorate Appraisement West has surpassed its customs duty target by Rs. 2.22 billion for the month of November. According to details, the MCC, Appraisement has collected Rs.8.62 billion as custom duty in November, depicting 34.5 percent growth as against its target of Rs. 6.40 billion.
The overall tax collection for the month of November is reported to Rs. 24.13 billion of which the Collectorate has received Rs.11.44 billion as sales tax, showing 32.1 percent growth as compared to the collection of Rs.7.8 billion made during last November, 2019. Similarly, the department has collected Rs. 763 million as additional sales tax, Rs. 3.07 billion as income tax and Rs. 226 million as FED, respectively.
