Quetta Gladiators are all set to face Multan Sultans in the double-header of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Sharjah Cricket Ground on Saturday.
Sarfraz-led Gladiators' journey has been a rollercoaster ride in the second week of the ongoing league. They beat Islamabad United easily by six wickets on Wednesday but lost to Peshawar Zalmi in a low-scoring thriller the next day, courtesy of a heroic performance by the injured Darren Sammy.
Quetta, who have won two and lost two matches so far this season, have plenty of positives though. Shane Watson is in fiery form with the bat, averaging 31.75 with a fifty to his name already. All-rounder Mohammad Nawaz has proven to be the most economical bowler of this season, with an economy rate of 3.83 so far.
On the other hand, PSL debutant Multan Sultans' Imran Tahir has proven to be their go-to man. The South African spin wizard has seven wickets from three matches so far, at an economy of 7.32.
Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara is also in the form of his life, averaging 42 with the bat this season.
