Sports fraternity wishes Imran quick recovery

Cricket and sports fraternity in Pakistan and across the world on Wednesday wished Imran Khan quick recovery after he fell down from a lifter in Lahore when he was about to address a public meeting. Even former West Indies captain and batsman Brian Lara was stunned with his injury and sent him a message on the Twitter for his quick recovery.
"Imran was a brave cricketer, courageous human being and a great leader," Brian Lara said. Former Indian captain Kapil Dev said he was shocked with the incident in Lahore and added Imran Khan is a fighter and will overcome this difficult time.
All the members of Pakistan team including skipper Misbah-ul-Haq were shocked and they prayed for his fast recovery. Squash legend and record 6-time World and 10-time British Open Champion Jahangir Khan praised the spirits of Imran Khan despite injuries. He also prayed for the recovery of Imran Khan. Former Pakistani captains Hanif Muhammad, Zaheer Abbas, Rashid Latif, ex-test openers Sadiq Muhammad, Shoaib Muhammad, also prayed for early recovery of Imran Khan. "Imran Khan is an asset for the country and front ranked party leader in Pakistan and I pray for his quick recovery and success in general elections," Sadiq Muhammad said.
The Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Zaka Ashraf, board's management has expressed their concern over early recovery. KCCA President Professor Syed Sirajul Islam Bukhari has issued the following statement on the injury of Imran Khan: "I was greatly disturbed to see Imran Khan getting hurt while climbing up in an over weight lifter before in a public meeting in Lahore". "By the grace of Allah I am happy to note that Imran Khan is out of danger and safe. May Allah grant him long life and early recovery," Professor Bukhari said.
