PTI formulates Insaf welfare & relief body in Punjab

Tehreek-e-Insaf Punjab General Secretary Dr Yasmin Rashid has said problems of a common man have increased rapidly as the inflation goes up millions of children could not go to school because of their parents cannot afford. She said that in rural areas of Punjab people are drinking unhealthy water and their children sleep with empty stomachs daily. Keeping in view the prevailing situation Tehreek-e-Insaf Punjab formulated Insaf welfare and relief committee Punjab here on Wednesday.
Dr Yasmin Rashid said that the welfare and relief committee will be headed by Sadqa Saabdad, while the duty of the General Secretary of the committee would be performed by Dr Seemi Bukhari Central Vice President PTI. She further mentioned 40 percent of the people in Pakistan are living under the poverty line, 65 percent has no provision to clean drinking water and out of these 40 percent of population is living with one meal a day.
This committee will organize all relief committees all over Punjab. The purpose of this committee will be to provide relief to a common man through several food programs, free medical camps, providing free medicines, and helping children of rural areas in their education by providing them free books and helping their parents in the education of these children. She said that this committee will also help in providing safe and clean water in all backward areas of Punjab. Mehnaz Rafi, Sobia Kamal, Sadia Saif, Alia Hamza Malik and other office bearers were also present in the meeting.
