Sindh Minister for Food Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar while taking notice of corruption of more than 40 million rupees in district Jacobabad during 2011-12, has ordered to launch departmental inquiry against three food inspectors. According to details, three food inspectors, Muhammad Sharif Malik, Abdul Ghaffar Khulvar and Shabir Ahmed Malik misappropriated 15,719 wheat bags which were to be transported to Karachi during 2011-12 and caused loss of Rs 44 million to the department.
Provincial Minister for Food Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar while taking notice of the corruption directed Director Food to take action against these three inspectors and submit its report within three days and recovery of the said amount must be ensured. He also directed to take all possible measures against corrupt officials.
