Apropos 'Nisar's attack on Aitzaz threatens to sour PPP-PML(N) relations' carried by Business Recorder yesterday, how unfortunate it is that a war of attrition has begun inside the Parliament where senior politicians are making highly provocative speeches to destroy the historic consensus that they achieved after a lot of struggle. According to reports, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that he knows that from where "PPP leader Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan is talking." According to Nisar, Aitzaz is the representative and facilitator of the biggest land mafia of the country. It is Aitzaz's old habit or perhaps the part of his politics as he talks of Hussain and acts like Yazid.
He has added that he has no regard or respect of a person who uses politics to make money. In his response that he articulate on the floor of the house Chaudhry Aitzaz too used a very strong language against Nisar. In between them, PPP leader Syed Khursheed Shah has described Nisar as 'a snake in the grass'. The question is: have they lost their marbles? All of them are required to appreciate the criticality of situation. Chaudhry Nisar in particular is required to act wisely and prudently.
