Minister says no shortage of petrol in Punjab

Punjab Minister for Food Bilal Yasin has said that petrol was available in abundance and there was no shortage of it anywhere in Punjab. Addressing a meeting here on Monday, he said the new transport fares will be implemented strictly.
Punjab Minister for Industry Muhammad Shafique Gujjar, Punjab Chief Secretary Khizar Hayat Gondal, IG Punjab Mushtaq Sukhaira, secretaries of Industry, Food, Agriculture, Livestock, Transport, the Commissioner of Lahore, the Director of IB and the DCO of Lahore were also present on the occasion.
The meeting reviewed the impacts of reduction in prices of petroleum products on prices of daily use items. The Secretary of Transport told the meeting that the new transport fares have been displayed at bus stands and special squads were also checking buses in this regard.
Punjab Chief Secretary Khizar Hayat Gondal directed that the benefit of reduction in prices of petroleum products should be provided to the common man and no negligence will be tolerated in this regard. He said a watchful eye should be kept on the prices of essential items and profiteers be dealt with strictly. Bilal Yasin said the government has given the proof of being democratic leadership by reducing transport fares and it has become clear that the PML-N was the representative party of the masses and it believes in the welfare of the people.
