The UAE-based airlines are going to resume their Peshawar operations from February 17, 2015. According to details, UAE-based airlines - Etihad and Emirates, which had a daily flight to Peshawar, had announced to suspend its operations on December 17, 2015 after December 16, 2014 terrorist attack on a school in Peshawar that left 141 persons including 132 children killed.
Emirates' spokesperson through email confirmed that it was resuming its five times a week service to Peshawar from February 17 2015. The spokesperson said: "Emirates apologises for any inconvenience caused by the recent suspension and is pleased to be able to recommence its operations. The airline is committed to serving its passengers on the route and facilitating ongoing trade and connectivity with the city and wider region."
