An earthquake of mild intensity jolted different areas of Kalat district of Balochistan but no loss was reported. According to geological wing of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) tremors of magnitude 4.1 on Richter scale were felt in Sourab and surrounding areas of Kalat.
People rushed out of homes in panic but no causality or loss of property was reported due to quake in any area where the quake was felt. The epicentre of earthquake was stated to be near Sourab 28 kilometre deep inside earth's crust.
