Pakistan holds tremendous potential to carve a niche for itself in the international market for herbal products, said Governor of Sindh, Muhammad Zubair here on Sunday. Addressing a ceremony to mark opening of WB by Hermani, a known company exporting herbal products to different parts of the world, he said efforts are needed to make optimum of the natural resources Pakistan is blessed with.
"We need to groom the human resource we are blessed and help them use their creativity to not only produce quality products but also market these goods well across the globe," he said. "We are in one or the other way indebted to Pakistan and it was time to pay it back" Governor of Sindh told the businessmen and industrialists attending the ceremony. Muhammad Zubair appreciated that Hermani were exporting their products to 60 different countries and hence also serving as country's ambassador committed to create good will among the people belonging to the concerned states.
PPP Senator, Said Ghani also present on the occasion said it was good to attend the program that is meant to get locals introduced to products that were previously only exported and not available in the country itself. He along with known business leader SM Muneer and people from trade as well showbiz hoped that the company, on basis of its quality products, will be able to gain confidence of the locals too.
Group Chairman of the company, Mustafa Hermani said the production of Hermani Herbal Goods marked its beginning in 1949 and was currently exporting 600 different herbal products to 60 countries scattered across the globe. He also mentioned that the UAE government had also certified Hermani goods as halal products, hence opening fresh vistas in Muslim world at large.
