Four killed in rain related incidents

Four persons were killed and more than two dozen injured, three of them seriously in incidents of roof collapsing and electrocution during heavy rains, winds and thunderstorm, here on Thursday.
According to Rescue 1122 sources, a worker Mohammad Iqbal died on the spot, while three others Abdul Rehman, Furiyyad Mangat and Furyyad Hussain were seriously injured when heavy winds and rainstorm hit the area collapsing a roof of a warehouse situated in Islamia Park. Rescue 1122 team reached the scene and shifted the dead and injured to Allied Hospital. In another incident, a 22 year old electrician Faiz Muhammad was electrocuted in Jhang Bazar, when he was operating drill machine near Lasoori Shah Darbar. A 35 year old industrial worker Muhammad Ibrahim was electrocuted in a textile mill of Khurrianwala industrial estate while performing his duty.
