Instagram is reportedly making user experience better for those who handle multiple accounts by letting them share a same picture or post to all their accounts simultaneously.
Instagram is adding a new feature where it will let the user publish the same post to multiple accounts at the same time, making it easier for people with more than one accounts, a spokesperson told Tech Crunch.
Earlier, users would have to post content through various accounts one by one manually or via third-party apps. When the user is about to share a new post, a new option to ‘self-regram’ the post becomes available.
Once the user completes selecting the picture or video to post, below the options to tag people and mark location a new option ‘Post to Other Accounts’ would be available that will let user toggle on where else they would wish to publish their post.
As per The Verge, this new feature can prove to be a big time saver for those who run multiple business accounts, are doing partnerships or takeovers with other accounts, run numerous photography hubs, or celebrities having fan pages and personal accounts.
However, the feature for now will only be available for iOS users and there is not further word on when or if it will come to Android or not.
