Dwayne Johnson hints at Jason Momoa joining ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has hinted that ‘Aquaman’ Jason Momoa could be in the future movies of the 'Fast & Furious' series.

While interacting with fans on Instagram, Johnson said that he tried to bring Momoa in an upcoming ‘Fast and Furious’ film ‘Hobbs & Shaw’ but he had hectic film schedules. He further said that he might appear in future ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise.

“I tried hard to get him in this movie to play my brother. But his schedule was too packed," Rock admitted, before adding, “Next Hobbs movie for sure”.

Johnson will reprise his role as Luke Hobbs in ‘Hobbs & Shaw’ and this time he will be joined by WWE Superstar Roman Reigns who will be playing the role of his on-screen brother.

The most recent film in the ‘Fast’ franchise, 2017?s ‘The Fate of the Furious’ grossed more than $1.2 billion during its theatrical run. Momoa’s solo-film debut as ‘Aquaman’ crossed the billion-dollar threshold earlier this month.
