GLASGOW: Celtic captain Scott Brown scored a last-gasp winner and was then sent off as the Hoops extended their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership with a 1-0 win away to Kilmarnock on Sunday.
Both sides ended the match a man down, with Killie's Kirk Broadfoot sent off for a foul on Brown 15 minutes before the champions' skipper scored the only goal of the game with a volley into the back of the net.
Yet after scoring that goal, Brown too also saw red for a second bookable offence because of his celebrations as he ran towards Celtic fans in the away end.
Earlier, Motherwell enjoyed a sixth straight league win after a mistake by Hearts goalkeeper Colin Doyle in stoppage time helped them to a 2-1 win at Fir Park.
David Turnbull's 25-yard free-kick appeared to be covered by Doyle but the keeper saw the ball go out of his grasp and spin into the net.
Teenage rising star Jake Hastie had put hosts Motherwell in front with his fourth goal in three games before Steven Naismith equalised for Hearts.
Ben Garuccio saw red for the visitors a minute before Turnbull's winner for a tackle on Liam Grimshaw.
