'Avengers: Endgame' makers have hit a rough path after a five-minute major plot of arguably the most anticipated film this year has apparently been leak social media.
According to media reports, the footage includes a handful of pivotal-seeming scenes from Endgame, although it certainly won’t give you a full picture of the movie and the quality is extremely bad that you won’t get the glossy Marvel cinematic experience, either.
But, those who have viewed the clip have called it ‘spoiler heavy’. Screen shots, gifs, short clips and detailed posts about what occurred during the clip are already surfacing on social media.
Walt Disney has kept the film shrouded in so much secrecy that even journalists and critics weren’t permitted to see the film ahead of its premiere which opens on April 26.
Marvel Studios on Tuesday afternoon tweeted, featuring the hashtag #DontSpoilTheEndgame and a generic-sounding letter from the film’s directors, Joe and Anthony Russo, imploring fans to keep quiet about the film’s plot.
“Please know that the two of us, along with everyone in the Endgame have worked tirelessly for the last three years with the sole intention of delivering a surprising and emotionally powerful conclusion to the Infinity Saga. Because so many of you have invested your time, your hearts, and your souls into these stories, we're once again asking for your help,” the letter reads.
