Pakistan cricket captain Sarfraz Ahmed has said that his bowlers are capable enough to bounce back against England, ahead of the third One Day International (ODI) at Bristol.

“We need to work on our bowling, and I am confident that our bowlers are capable enough to make a comeback in the upcoming matches,” said Sarfraz.

Pakistani bowlers took a bashing in the last ODI at the hands of England’s batsmen, which went on to score a mammoth score of 373 runs, on the back of aggressive knocks from Jos Buttler and Jason Roy.

“We are playing against the number one ODI side, so we would need to play good positive cricket like the way we played in the previous match,” the skipper said.

The skipper however, admitted that the side needs to work on bowling at the death. “There are some areas that we need to improve on, especially our execution in the death overs but, I believe that our bowlers have the capability to win us matches with their bowling,” he said.

Pakistan lost the high scoring thriller, after they just fell short of 12 runs while chasing a mammoth target of 373. With the five match series 1-0, Pakistan would take on the host England in the third One Day International (ODI) on Tuesday at Bristol.
