Pakistan’s aggressive top order batsman Fakhar Zaman finally got his act right as the batsman starred for his side Glamorgan in a dramatic match against Gloucestershire at the Vitality Blast 2019. Zaman top scored with 58 runs off 43 deliveries featuring eight boundaries and one maximum, allowing his side to post a respectable 172 runs on board in 20 overs. Zaman's innings were a sigh of relief as the batsman was battling a lean patch with scores of 0, 17, 13, 0 and 9 in his last five innings. The match, however, ended up with an exhilarating tie, thanks to a late fightback from Gloucestershire’s Andrew Tye, who played a blistering knock of 38 off 18 deliveries, earning the Player of the Match award. Zaman is part of a bunch of Pakistan cricket players featuring at the tournament, which also includes star attractions such as Babar Azam (Somerset), Mohammad Amir (Essex) and Faheem Ashraf (Northants Steelbacks).
