Divisional Commissioner Mehmud Javed Bhatti has said the school students were the best ambassador of disseminating social messages and reform measures could be reached at each home to redress the social issues.
He expressed these views while reviewing the art competitions among the students of Divisional Public School on the subject of dengue. Public Schools director Ch Ashraf, Rector Shahid Mehmud, Principal Tariq Parvaiz, Headmaster Mian Anwar and other faculty members were also present on the occasion. More than 700 participants of art competition made very impressive paintings to highlight the dengue issue and precautions to avoid this disease.
Divisional Commissioner appreciated the creative qualities of the students and said that holding of art competition on anti dengue was remarkable steps to sensitize the students and their parents about the threats of dengue.
He said art competition was the best source to create awareness regarding following the precautionary anti-dengue measures. The Commissioner said extra curricular activities should be arranged regularly to polish the constructive and positive qualities of the students.
He said the painting competitions should also be held on different issues for promoting the moral values and characterisation of the next generation. He said the children were our bright future and they should be made capable to meet the future challenges confronted to the nation and the role of teachers was vital in this regard.
He also appreciated the performance of the educational institutions and said the further steps should be taken to impart the education system with advancement.
