Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Akram Khan Durrani's son Muhammad Zahid Durrani Tuesday appeared before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in connection with an inquiry launched against him and his father for allegedly having assets beyond known sources of income.
A NAB official said Zahid recorded his statement before the NAB investigators. The Bureau officials probed him for over two hours and also handed over him a questionnaire, he said, adding that Durrani's son has been asked to submit reply of questionnaire within seven days.
He said NAB after receiving reply of the questionnaire would decide whether or not to summon him again. Both the father and son from Bannu are facing the same charges and allegedly committed corruption in two housing projects announced by the Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation.
