Chicago Board of Trade corn futures ended narrowly mixed on Friday as a bounce in global equity markets helped grains to stabilize following steep declines this week, traders said.
CBOT May corn settled unchanged at $3.65-3/4 per bushel, after dipping to $3.63-1/2, a contract low and the cheapest value for a most-active corn contract on a continuous chart since Sept. 12. For the week, the May contract fell 10-1/4 cents per bushel or 2.7%. Fresh export demand lent support.
