Pattinson has told Stewart that she ‘completely humiliated’ him.

A source close to the star told a leading website: ‘Rob is devastated and deeply hurt. They spoke on the phone and he said “You’ve completely humiliated me, all the trust has gone.”

The source said that the 26-year-old British Actor ‘couldn’t believe what he was hearing’ when Stewart told him the fling was just a ‘one off.’

The ‘Twilight Saga’ stars' off-screen relationship has hit a rough patch after she admitted that she had cheated on him with “Snow White and the Huntsman” Director Rupert Sanders.

The source told a leading tabloid that it was Pattinson who demanded Stewart apologies and she agreed.

“Robert wanted the world to know that he hadn’t done anything wrong and that she had made a fool of him publicly,” said the insider.

“He still can’t fathom why she cheated. Kristen is begging for another chance. Robert is undecided,” insider added.

The couple was last seen together at the Teen Choice Awards but attendees back stage at the ceremony detected some tension between them, with a source telling that the Twilight couple was looking miserable and Stewart was pleading with Pattinson about a situation. There was said to be a fight between the two entertainers.

Stewart is now expected to ‘do decent thing’ and write a private letter apologizing to Liberty Ross, wife of Sanders, according to US website.

A source said, “Kristen didn't feel it was appropriate to issue a public apology to Liberty once the story of her affair with Rupert broke. Kristen feels she made a terribly naive mistake and will do anything to make amends. The fact that Liberty and Rupert have two kids has now dawned on her and she feels awful for what she did.”
