Coke Studio is all set to celebrate Pakistan’s 70th anniversary of Independence by releasing a heartwarming rendition of the National Anthem, sung by all 40 singers who will feature during this Season. While, the last year anthem ‘Aye Rah-e-Haq ke Shaheedo’ gave us goosebumps, this year anthem didn’t go down well with fans.

This year also marks the completion of decade as Coke Studio entered the tenth season of the music scene, providing platform to singers, who helped set a trend with the fusion of local and international music.

The National Anthem which is supposed to give a patriotic feeling and sense of safety, freedom and hope, this Coke Studio version seems dull and lack emotions. Some singers were pretentiously being overzealous, others shared an uncanny resemblance to the Walking Dead.

Here’s how Twitter reacted to Coke Studio 10 debut music video,

The much awaited Season 10 is all set to release on August 11.
