The growing trend shows Bollywood has made its presence felt globally. From Priyanka Chopra’s recent collaboration with Pitbull, and Sonam Kapoor’s audition for ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’ it has now emerged Deepika Padukone is auditioning for a role in ‘Fast & Furious 7’.
According to a well-placed Indian media source producers of the action series are hunting for Bollywood stars for the role of a science and technology expert, said to be a significant character in the next installment. Aside from Deepika, Bollywood newcomers Kangna Ranaut and Chitrangada Singh are also said to be in the running.
“Considering the brief, Deepika was the first to be auditioned, before she went on her holiday.” revealed Indian media sources, further adding “Kangana and Chitrangda were also recently screen-tested for the part. The producers wanted to keep their options open as the movie has been scheduled to release next July.”
It has also been revealed that in the coming days more Bollywood actresses will be screen-tested for the highly-coveted role for the film expected to release in July of 2014.
